Project Details
Find your way through the GopherWay
GopherTunnels is a mobile navigation app built to help University of Minnesota students move through campus more confidently by using the GopherWay tunnel network. Instead of relying on guesswork or outdated directions, students can quickly find efficient indoor routes with smart pathing and real-time guidance. The app is designed around everyday campus movement, especially during extreme weather, high-traffic class transitions, and first-week confusion. Built with React Native and a TypeScript-first stack, GopherTunnels pairs a fast mobile experience with a scalable backend so route quality and reliability can improve over time. The goal is simple: reduce friction in daily campus life and make getting from point A to point B less stressful.
