A Living Mosaic of UMN Memories

MemoryMosaic is an open, collaborative web platform that captures UMN college life as a living, ever-growing digital mosaic. Created as a shared space for stories and moments, it invites students to contribute pieces of their experience and see those contributions become part of a larger collective memory. The project emphasizes community ownership, visual storytelling, and long-term continuity, turning individual posts into a dynamic campus archive. Built with React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Konva, and shadcn, MemoryMosaic combines expressive front-end interaction with a modern data layer that can scale as participation grows. The project’s impact and execution earned it 1st place at MinneHack 2026.
